What is the value of certification?

A high-quality certification program, such as Hand Therapy Certification Commission’s (HTCC) program, validates an individual’s knowledge, skills, and abilities required to perform a particular job.  Successfully passing a certification exam, represents a declaration of a particular individual’s professional competence. Certified individuals in the workforce reduce risk and enhance consumer protection and public safety.
