Approach to care

Your hands help you participate in everyday activities for work, school, sport, hobbies, and caring for your loved ones and it is also a way to communicate with others.

I pride myself on being able to empathise with my clients about the challenges a hand injury can cause to their everyday activities. With a greater understanding of the challenges a hand injury can cause, it helps me individualise a rehabilitation programme to achieve the best possible outcome.

I am someone who likes to see results, during my client’s rehabilitation journey. One of the approaches involves helping clients to understand their injury and the various treatment options. This involves listening to her clients’ concerns, identifying their goals, and helping them achieve an ideal outcome after a surgical procedure or when dealing with a hand or upper limb condition.
